Our Story

Love Oor Lang Toun was born out of the need to promote and support the town centre following the demise of the BID company in March 2020. We are a group of passionate professionals from Kirkcaldy who want the best for our town and know it’s time to roll up our sleeves to achieve it.

Our intention is to promote and help regenerate the town centre through a Community Interest Company. We’re realistically positive, we acknowledge the challenges and hold high aspirations for the town.

We use analysis, evaluation and insight but don’t want to be bogged down - we’re all about fast action based on informed thinking.

We own and lead where we add value, champion and support others when they’re best placed to take projects forward and we act as the conduit for collective collaboration.
